Before you start your day in Driving
School you need to be at least 17 or above with a valid UK
provisional driving licence. In my experience the people who are most
successful first time in their test usually have regular 2 hour driving lessons
and step this up on the lead up to their practical driving test, we think this
demonstrates their commitment to their goal and determination to succeed.
Trainee Driving Instructors are allowed to work for a period
of 6 months (sometimes longer), during this period they must train in
conjunction with a Driving School until they have finished their training and
have passed the final exam in their attempt to become a fully qualified driving
instructor. Legally, they are only entitled to basic lessons, introducing them
to the basic car controls, how cars operate and some basic driving such as
moving off and stopping - all valid and useful experience for when they start
learning to drive on a more regular basis.
It's not unusual for young drivers to get too overconfident
- statistics show that newly qualified young drivers are responsible for up to
50 road traffic accidents every day in the UK alone, the USA holds the record
for most teenage deaths caused by driving.
Driving School west
Lothian with driving lessons should have the option to allow their
students to pay the fees in installments which may be divided into something
that can be paid initially at the time of enrolment and paying off the rest
while availing the certificate.
You may have some classroom instruction, but your actual
advanced driving lessons will probably last only two or three hours, and while
they won't elevate you to Hollywood stunt driver status, will teach you
techniques which can get you out of tight traffic situations for a long time to
come. For more information, please visit our site http://inspired-driving.co.uk/
